![]() ![]() ![]() The picture at the top of this post shows what the knobs do when using this setting, which works with Live 9.7.2 and up, including Live 10.įirst you need to go open Live’s Preferences menu and go to Link/MIDI and select the MiniLab MKII from the list for the control surface and input and output settings, with track and remote turned on. The MiniLab MKII has eight memory banks and number 8 is dedicated to working with Ableton Live and is setup to automatically control certain aspects of Live. I especially like the integration with Ableton Live. ![]() The keys are a lot nicer than the Alesis MIDI keyboards I tried previously, and it has a lot more knobs and pads to work with. I just got the keyboard today and I'm seriously considering trashing it away, it drives me crazy.Last year I bought an Arturia MiniLab MKII and it has turned out to be a great mini MIDI keyboard controller for the price. ![]() Since there's 16 sounds on each.Īny help would be appreciated. Yes, the "normal mode", instead of shift+pad8 works, but then I have only 8 pads to work with, and I don't have the entire drum. Any idea? Am I getting mad? Did I do something wrong or am I just too stupid to work it out? I seriously have no idea what the hell happened. So, when I move them to a different octave, so I can hear them, then it get's even better! Central key on my keyboard works as I'd hit the pad, so it starts recording! And the other pads around work as a switch for track and clip. they don't work, they are silent for some reason on the proper one? I have to use keys then, but I need to move each individual key octave up in ableton, because. When trying to use Ableton mode on drum racks, it doesn't, of course. Now, I know what you'll think: the idiot didn't switch to the Ableton mode under shift+Pad8 Well, I did. So, the problem is: When using the Minilab on Analog lab - sure, it works amazing.īut whenever I try to do something remotely easy in Ableton, it decides to mess itself up. Not gonna lie, I'ma probably smash the thing unless it gets going. so I'm trying to use the Arturia keyboard to work in Ableton, but it doesn't seem to work 100%. ![]()
